This policy explains the information Richardson and Ward collects through richardsonandward.com, how we use it, and the control you have over it. We ship only within the United States, so it is written with US customers in mind. Where we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Richardson and Ward, and "the Site" means richardsonandward.com.

1) The information we collect

We collect information in two ways. The first is what you give us yourself: when you place an order, open an account or sign up for our emails, you may share your name, your billing and delivery addresses, your email address, your order details, and the payment information needed to complete your purchase, which our payment provider handles securely on our behalf. The second is what is recorded automatically as you browse: your device's IP address, the browser and operating system it runs, the pages you open, the way you move through the Site, and the time and date of each visit. We also use cookies and similar tools, which are explained in their own section below.

2) How we use your information

We use what we collect to process and deliver your orders, answer your questions, returns requests and other messages, improve the Site and the way products are shown, detect and prevent fraud, and meet our obligations under tax, consumer and other applicable laws.

6) How long we keep it

Once that reason has passed, we delete the information or strip it of anything that could identify you.

7) Your choices and your rights

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
  • ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information, where the law does not require us to keep it
  • opt out of marketing emails at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us

8) Links to other websites

The Site may link to websites run by other companies. Once you follow a link away from richardsonandward.com, we no longer control how that site handles your information, and this policy no longer applies. We would suggest reading the privacy notice of any site before you share anything with it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we work, the services we offer or the law. The latest version will always sit on this page with its effective date, so it is worth looking back now and then.
